A higher score does not necessarily put you in a higher position. A passing score gets you to the interview table.

My husband has been trying to get into the apprentiship program for 2 years and each year denied. He has taken the math classes as required. He has great letters of recommendations. What else does he need to do enter this program? He is almost at his 3 yr mark with local 26. right now he is a R7. Thanks for your help.

It sounds like he is doing everything that he is suppose to do. Since I don't know his name I can't give you any specific information. Feel free to call me at 301-429-2575.

I've taken the aptitude test and I got a passing score and I have an interview coming up next month, now my qestion is, what do I have to do in order to start working as an electrician for the union?? Do I have to wait until after the interview??? Should I go to the office and put my name in a list if there is such list??? I was reading forum and I came across one comment that said I need a member number, will I get that in at the interview? Can I get it now?? As you can see I'm pretty much lost I would really like some guidance.

You can go to work before your interview. You need to come by the JATC and get a number for the Residential program. Once you receive that number you will be placed with a contractor when your number comes up.

You have to come in to sign the application and present your IDs. You pay the fee to test at that time.
