Hi, I have recently passed my test and I had my interview which went well. My question is what are my chances of getting into the apprenticeship program if I have little to no experience in the field? I really want to make this my career and I was just wondering what my chances are. Thanks

There is no way to predict what your chances are since I don't have access to your application or interview. Experience plays a part, but it is not the deciding factor. If experience is what you are looking for come to the JATC and get a number for an assignment in the Residential training program. It's a good place to start.

If I am doing the residential training program, can I start an apprenticeship without completing the full four years of the program?

If I enter the Residential Training Program, do I have to do the full four years before attempting to get accepted into an apprenticeship program?

The Residential Training Program is a great place to start, but you do not have to complete it before you can start the Apprenticeship Program. You can apply for the Apprenticeship at any time.

If I already took the interview and I'm awaiting a decision would it be too late to sign up for the Residential program in order to have a better chance of being accepted or is it too late?

Signing up for the Residential program is a good way to get started in the industry. It won't help you with your interview since you have already had it, but it will let you know if you really want to do this type of work for a career.
