A friend referred me to the program because of my telecomm experience in the military but before i try and get serious about it, i would like to know if misdemeanor convictions in 2004 and 2009 as well as having an other than honorable seperation from the military exclude me from the program? |

TJ, No they don't. |

A friend also referred me to the program and I will be taking the test in a couple weeks, but since the apprenticeship doesn't start until September, do they help you find a job as a helper until the apprenticeship begins? |

Jobs are available on an as needed basis. You need to come in and sign the available for work list as a Residential Trainee and be assigned a number. |

About how long do you think it would take before my number was called? |
Ralph Neidert |
I wish I could predict the future. Once you get a number there is a 800 number that you can call to check the available work per classification. Currently the requests for R1s and R2s is slow. If this is the career you have chosen, then you might as well come in and get a number as soon as possible. |

does your school take foreigners because im a Ghanaian and i have chosen electrical engineering as my career and i want to know if there is a way i can make it to your school |
Ralph Neidert |
Our apprenticeship trains electricians, not engineers. You may apply to work here if you have the proper documentation. I suggest that you investigate our program in more detail to understand that we are an electrical apprenticeship that requires both school and work (OJT). |
